WHAT WE DO

FBL Foundation was founded in 2019 by the Bartman family. Nazeem Bartman’s father (Faisel Bartman) was a key member of the community of Bonteheuwel. He was a soccer coach at Phantom Orion, which is the amateur team Nazeem played for growing up.

Nazeem’s father passed away on March 30th 2020. The passing of Nazeem’s father motivated Nazeem to follow through on this project and continue the legacy of his late father. Giving back has always been a big part of Nazeem’s life along with being a role model for the kids in the community.

Our purpose is to host a tournament every year in the community of Bonteheuwel, the exact same field Nazeem grew up training as a kid. This will provide kids an opportunity to showcase their talents and have a fun time with their friends, while also receiving gifts, food, trophies and more throughout the entire event.
